ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi assured his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi that Pakistani people stand firmly with their Chinese brothers and will provide full services in Beijing’s fight against ongoing novel coronavirus.
FM Qureshi offered assistance to fight against coronavirus during the telephonic conversation with Wang Yi.
During the conversation, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told Qureshi that Pakistan’s offer for help and support to China in this difficult time once again highlighted the deep friendship between the two neighbours.
Earlier, FM Qureshi has said that Pakistan stands by the Chinese people and leadership in their valiant efforts to bring the Coronavirus under control. In a statement, the foreign minister hailed the measures taken by China for controlling coronovirus. He also said that the Chinese authorities have made monumental efforts to deal with Coronavirus and the top Chinese leadership has been overseeing the disease control efforts.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the global community has widely appreciated China’s efforts. “Secretary General UN has also lauded China’s efforts in this regard,” he added.
“For our part, we stand ready to extend possible assistance to our Chinese brethren to help deal with the aftermath of Coronavirus,” the minister maintained.
“We are also extremely thankful to the Chinese government for extending best possible assistance to Pakistani nationals in China,” FM Qureshi mentioned.

BEIJING (92 News) – China appreciated Pakistani Dr Usman Janjua – who announce to offer his services to help fight against deadly coronavirus – as a foreign doctor to join the fight against coronavirus in China as a volunteer.
It is pertinent to mention here that a Pakistani doctor has won the hearts of the Chinese after he decided to offer his services to help the country fight against the coronavirus that has killed more than 300 people and infected more than 14,000.
“We appreciate Dr Muhammad Usman Janjua, a foreign Doctor to join the fight against coronavirus in China as a volunteer. He is a teacher from Changsha Medical University,China and hails from Deena, Jhelum, Pakistan,” the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan tweeted.

In an interview with Chinese media, Dr Usman Janjua said that China was like a second home for him as he had completed his education for there. “My heart beats with my Chinese brothers. If I can offer my services in Wuhan in this difficult hour, it would be a moment of pride for me and my country – Pakistan,” said Janjua.
The doctor also thanked the Chinese media for projecting him as a hero in front of the Chinese people. He shared that as a doctor he feels that the Chinese government has taken “adequate and powerful” measures at the right time to tackle the virus.
